Las Vegas, NV – One unwatched cigarette led to a disastrous condo fire that resulted in an eight-unit condo with four units completely destroyed and 70% total damage. There were many constituencies affected by the disaster, including the individual homeowners and families, as well as the condo’s homeowner’s association and governing board.
With that many interested parties, winning the contract to rebuild and renovate such extensive damage was no easy task. There are many decision-makers to impress. HARBRO was the company that stood above all others.
HARBRO successfully negotiated the right to bid on the project. It then provided a competitive bid and multiple in-depth interviews. “We were very thorough with our proposal,” said Eion Stanley, HARBRO Account Manager. “We won because we not only provided an aggressive bid, but the most complete set of services and best communication. We met with each homeowner as well as the HOA, to ensure each person had an opportunity to explore their options and choose the ideal end result.”
Stanley said the task, with a price tag close to $1 million, was not easy. There were challenges such as a sound membrane between the floors that had to be reproduced. There was also unusually thick stucco, but HARBRO was able to reproduce it in the demo process. The project is slated to be completed on time on January 22, 2013.
