HARBRO’s Acquisition and New Orange County Location
Long Beach, CA – On October 1, 2016 HARBRO, Inc. announced that it has acquired ENVIROCON Contracting, Inc., an Orange County—based environmental remediation and asbestos abatement company. The purchase will enhance HARBRO’s current asbestos services to be more competitive in the current market. With this addition, their clients who encounter pressing asbestos concerns during emergencies after fire or flood disasters will be serviced even quicker and more cost effective.
ENVIROCON brings a 25-year record of success, safety, and performance. Its portfolio includes long-term clients in the healthcare, high-rise, food processing, energy production, water and gas utility, public works, military base, apartment, and public housing sectors. Introduced by a mutual client, HARBRO and ENVIROCON were a natural fit from the first handshake. They share a like-minded mission to provide the highest level of service to clients at a reasonable cost while maintaining a safe work environment. The two companies share similar cultures, exceptional reputations with long-standing clients, and enjoy hard-earned respect as leaders in their industry. Most importantly, for both, safety is always the top priority.
David Adams, former proprietor of ENVIROCON, will join HARBRO as Vice President of Environmental Services and will be responsible for overseeing all operations, reaching out to HARBRO’s various operation centers, enhancing HARBRO’s service capabilities, fostering new business, and ensuring continuity of service to ENVIROCON’s existing client base. “I am proud of the reputation ENVIROCON has developed in service to our many long-term customers. I am looking forward to joining HARBRO and becoming part of a multi-faceted contracting organization where my team and I can grow and lend our experience to the often necessary aspect of asbestos and lead abatement in the fire and flood restoration process,” said David.
HARBRO is excited about the many fruitful opportunities this venture will bring for both HARBRO and its clients.
