When a former lodge member sets blaze to San Pedro’s beloved Elks Lodge, HARBRO is called on to rebuild over 40 years of lost memories.
SAN PEDRO, CA – News rocked the city of San Pedro when reports came out late April 15, 2014 that the iconic Elks Lodge had caught fire and was about 50% destroyed.
After keeping in contact and building a strong trusting relationship with the Lodge through their two year planning process, Project Coordinator Dan Trejo gave the Elks confidence that HARBRO was the best fit for their reconstruction job.
When HARBRO was granted the opportunity to restore the 33,000 sqft. facility, they made it their mission to put as much time and passion into this project, as the Elks puts into their community.
Senior Project Manager, Brian Edwards began phase one in early March 2016, while coordinating with multiple layers of decision makers and various subs to get everyone moving in the same direction. Being such a devastating loss to not only The Elks Lodge members, but to the community, HARBRO is making this job a priority to get the rebuilding process underway as quickly as possible.
As the restoration begins, HARBRO sets out to build a new and improved building, while still preserving the heart and soul of the previous structure. Completion of the project is estimated between 14 and 16 months.
